The MVZ requires that all specimens are collected and accessioned legally. Researchers and other donors must follow local, state, federal, and international laws pertaining to the collection, possession, and transport of vertebrate animals and their parts. A copy of relevant permits should be provided to the Staff Curator when the specimens are donated for accessioning.
