Donations

The MVZ welcomes donations of specimens from individual researchers, agencies, organizations, and the general public. Donations may include either prepared specimens or whole frozen carcasses which will be prepared by MVZ staff or volunteers. Specimen preparation is an important part of hands-on training in the MVZ Undergraduate Program . The museum also accepts donations to the Archives (field notes, photographs, correspondence, memorabilia) if they have relevance to past or present MVZ research. Other types of donations (e.g., books for the library) also may be accepted. All potential donations are evaluated on a case-by-case basis by MVZ curators.
